Default LT1 Fans install pics

Here's a three pics of the LT1 fans I installed in my truck for those who may be interested. One is the power hook up to the fuse box (yellow wire) and to the red box on the drivers side (red wire barely visible at bottom). One is of the relay/thermostat controller and the other is of the fans themselves.

What thermostat/relay are you using? Like part number, where you got it from? I have flexalite fans on my suburban and their thermostat module has burned up on me twice(damn POS). I am looking for another option.

It's an Imperial brand I got at Kragans auto parts, Kragans is also called Checkers and Shucks in other parts of the country.

Great, thanks for the reply. I will go check it out. Is it adjustable as to when it kicks on and off? Or is it preset?

Nice install. I see you utilized the stock fan shroud bolt holes as I did to hold the fans.

It's adjustable, that's the little blue thing, it's the thermomstat dial. The instructions say what the range is but I forget, I set mine for about 190*. I used a infra-red temp gun we have at work and used it to set the temp. I mounted the relay close to the radiator because the temp probe wire isn't very long, you can see in the relay pic where I put the probe. I used the temp gun to find the hottest spot on the radiator and adjust it to come on when that spot was 190*, other spots of the radiator were cooler though. The dial doesn't really have any numbers to set it at, you'll need some way to check the coolant temp..
