Default lt1 fans?

are the lt1 e fans the same as ls1?

Also would a 160 stat never blow hot air from the vents.

First question not sure...second question...wtf?
Are you asking if the heater won't work if you get a 160 stat?
If so ummmm Yes it will still work.

fans are slightly different but are the same as in everything else

160* stat will produce less heat from heater

Ive got LT1 fans on my truck and so does Dockrocker..
Ive also put them on my buddies Z71...

They work great...


Ill be gettin a 160* thermostat tomorrow for mine..

Yea i knew the blower would still work, i didnt know if the output temp would be hot still with a 160 stat.

I kinda figured the Lt1 fans would work, or could make them work. i found them cheaper than ls1 fans.

160* stat here, great heat in sub zero New Jersey winters...stat opens up sooner, heat actually comes up quicker. Theoretically, if the engine operating temp is not as hot, the heat will not be as hot, but I can tell you from personal experience and 20 years of running 160* stats in my vehicles, I've never had a problem with my heater being too cold in the winter. I always end up with the blower fan on the low settings once the engine has gotten into operating temp, and I'm not exactly a polar bear if you know what I mean (I like it on the warmer side and complain when the mercury drops )
