Default Lt vs Mid vs Tri-Y headers.....

Can someone explain to me, what is best for what setup is better for hp/tq, at low or high rpms, and what dia of tubing to use? This will be for the 5.3 - 6.0L, I'm just looking for some help, I do understand there is alot of factors involved to determine the best setup.

Thanks,

Go with longtubes, stall, 4.10 gears, and a tune. That'll get ya rollin a LOT faster

Oh yeh, about the exhaust. If you wanna run a single pipe, get the offraod y that comes with the pacesetters. If you want duals go with duals with an X pipe.

Tri-Y will make more low end than the Paces will. Granted the Tri-Y will not make the same amount of HP up around 6500 like the Paces...... It will all depend on what you want out of the truck. Period.

Oh, the Thorley Tri-Y's are not mids. They are long tubes.
