Default LT-1 Fans

A buddy has a pair of complete LT-1 fans he wants to sell me for $75. I haven't seen them, but he says the are like new.

2 Questions:

1. Since I just installed the ud pulleys, are the fans worth installing?

2. How easy is this mod and what other parts will I need?

Thanks
Randy

1. Well worth installing. Doesn't create HP but frees some up, especialy on the low end.

2. Fairly easy install. You will need 2-30 amp relays 10' 12g wire for hot, 10' 12g wire for ground, 2- good quality toggles, 2-12g inline fuse holders w/30 amp fuses, 30' 16 or 18g wire for toggles. This is what is needed to run an in the cab on/off setup. I am eventually going to get a Flex-a-lite thermo switch to run one fan. I like being able to turn at least one on and off at will. Hopfully by the time you get ready to do it, I will have my step by step instructions together.
