Default Lsxrt intake question

Need some help guys. I have now installed 2 different fast 102mm truck intakes and I am getting a whistle noise from booth. The tuner says it is acting like a vacuum leak. I have sprayed all hoses and all around the intake with carb cleaner and no idle change I have also filled the engine compartment with smoke and cant find any where that it is pulling it in. Has anyone installed this intake and are you getting a whistle noise from yours under throttle. I am just worried cause the truck is supposed to go to the track this Friday for its first 1/8 mile pass on the bottle.....

it could be a number of things making the nose. i wouldnt worry about it if you cannot find a leak. what does your tuner say is making it seem like a leak?

do you have a 102mm throttle body? i hear these intakes take a little more time to dial in with the larger throttle body.

Chris,pm returned
if you have a vacuum leak, the fuel trims will go + in closed loop
A customer last night had a leak on bank 2 collector. At an idle bank 2 trim was a + 13 while bank 1 was at a 0 - -2 where bank 2 should have been within 1-2 % of bank 1.The leak was very noticeable. This is just an example
I recommended he have it fixed, you really can't properly tune a vehicle with any leaks but some will still tackle it.LOL
