Im looking at one of the LSr cams designed for 4.8/5.3 engines, its 215/223@.050 on a 112 LSA with .604/.610 lift with factory rockers. It says it works best in heavy vehicles, and makes strong mid range torque. My truck has Pacesetter LT's/ORY, CAI, 05+ efans, custom blackbear tune, and i have an LS2 truck intake and 90mm TB im going to install at the same time. Im obviously going to get it retuned as well.

How well do you think this cam would work in my 5.3 with a TT3000 or 3200 converter?

I'm also curious about these lobes, I know there not as agressive as the lsk lobes but shouldn't get the valve float.... At least I hope not

Ive decided to go with the exact same cam for my 5.3L, and im thinking it will be a nice setup, some will say the lift is way more than the stock heads need, but i plan to swap them out down the road.

I also emailed Yank about the converter, and Dave replied back saying the PT3200 would be the best choice.

If you get this installed before me, id def like to know your thoughts.
