i'm not sure what you mean about this, but the L33 comes with the same heads as the LS6 came with. they have the same part number in the gm parts cataloge.

are you talking about the LQ9 heads? they are LS6 heads with bigger chambers for lower ion- in short. but they are for a 6.0
Youd have serious compression issues with them on a 5.3. Too low for boost on stock pistons if I had to guess. proboly the low 8s to high 7s?

 

Trey, no. The newer 5.3s have a higher flowing head.
Zippy is saying they are LS6 castings tho...
I had thought, maybe there was a reworked 5.3 head from gm.

yep, they are part number 12564825. they list for the 01-04' LS6 and the L33 engines.
