Default LS6 Intake with LS6 Cam

I got my hands on an LS6 cam and intake the other day. I've read around here that the intake is a bit of a hassle without any other mods. I've also read that the LS6 cam works well with boost. I'm going to turbo my engine in the next month or so, so i'm probably going to put the cam in at the same time....should I also swap the lq4 intake for the ls6 intake while I'm at it? Any help is appreicated.

Thanks,
Colby

For the weight of your truck, and running 35's, I would keep the truck intake to keep the low down torque.

That's what I was thinking, but people's opinions go both ways so I asked for myself.

Thanks.

yea i would keep the truck intake on there, sell the ls6 and get some money out of it and put it towards other mods, i read in the newest Hot Rod Engines magazine where they put a ls6 intake on a lq9 and all it picked it up was 2 or 3hp then they put a fast intake on there and it picked up only 11hp and imo thats not worth the swap of having to get a f body water pump and a idler pulley relocation bracket, its just not worth the money and trouble imo
