Is this a possiblity? I know the LS6 heads bolt up to the 5.3 block so I would assume this to be true but need the truth man... I can handle it. Looking for some direct bolt on's with out swaping heads...yet!

 

I don't think the gains from an LS6 manifold would be worth it, unless u find one cheap. Most I have seen were 450.00.

 

But it will bolt right minus the correct fuel system setup right? I was thinking of either a Holley Lingenfelter which is desiged to be close to the same as the LS6 or the new Weiand(sp?)which lingenfelter helped design too. I am wanting to go SC some time in the future and want the extra strength of the aluminum. On LS1 fbodies it's a 20+ rwhp mod at the z28 mb. Would also better suporrt some NOS too!

 

you will have to relocate your belt tensioner, otherwise it will be in the way of the intake tube coming into the throttlebody.

From what I have read, it is not worth it. The LS6 intake only flows a little better than the truck intakes. The truck intakes are taller, that's why they won't fit on F-Body cars. Plus, you might loose some torque down low with that swap.
