Default cam lift

i have a .535/.535 lift cam now, but i am already thinking of going bigger, question is what is the biggest lift i can go with 918 springs, stock pushrods, and no special pcm tuning.

Matt, what were the full numbers on the cam you picked up? Do you know how much advance it has?

216/218 .535/.535 114LSA, not sure on the degrees advance? why do you ask about that though? any reason or just curious. also, what is the biggest cam we can run with proper springs, on stock tuning and pushrod length.

The amount of advance will dictate the intake center line. That will determine how much low end the cam will be good for.

I'm sure we could use a B1 cam. Maybe the hammer cam. Do a search in the internal seciion on those cams. Not sure about tuning though. I bet the low end power would suffer with either of those. If you did the springs then the rest of a cam swap would be easy. Swap a couple different ones in, see how they act. Someone needs to.
