I would use the new l92 heads or Dart's new heads or AFR's. they flow alot better and it's going to take a high flowing head to keep up with that engine.

Correction, built a 418 stroker.

I originally went with the DART 205s but I had way too much low end tq, Im going to be running some stock 317 heads for now, call Richard of West Coast Cylinder Head, he can steer you in the right direction for sure.

If you havent ordered your totating assembly I highly recommend going with teh 4" stroke, the extra .100 stroke makes for ALOT of problems especially when using a 6.125 rod.

Eagle rods and crank with JE pistons, you are going to have to do alot of clearancing to the pistons if you want the 4.100 stroke with a 6.125 rod. The skirts on the crank will either have to be cut down a good bit and rebalanced(probably about 150 bucks) or cut the piston skirts and file down the wrist pin bosses a little bit. Also the windage tray is going to have ot have extra spacers which spaces the pickup tube down which means you have to modify it. Catch my drift?
