Problem with check valve install.

The combination of the pump plus pre and post filters is so wide that installation of the check valve would require a tight 90 degree turn in the braided line to come forward towards the front of the truck.
Any opinions about installing the check valve further up the line. Cut the braided somewhere up the line and install the check valve there.

I hadn't thought about the aspect of being able to hide the brown sock. Love it! No more worries about the Chevy fashion police or whether to run a section of duct tape around that sucker! Thanks my friend. That will make it easy.
