I believe that 7.425 pushrods are optimal for the LS6 cam

Smooth as stock, you'll never know it has a cam just idling. It will run on a stock tune, might hunt a little when first started cold, but that's all I have ever noticed with them. I have one in the old mans '72 with the turbo 5.3. runs great

The difference was made up with longer valves in the LS6's

Yeah, and probably need a fast or LS1/6 intake for that thing to bring when he gets on it.

Was that a serious comment? The ls1 intake actually flows worse and the ls6 doesn't warrant the cost of the swap.

Not from the charts I've seen and the LS6 only outflows LS1 over 5000rpms.

Probably depends on who does the flow charts anyway. tomayto tomahto

With such long runners I wouldn't expect the truck intake to be worth much at all at top rpm so it probably does flow more at lower rpms.

I didn't think LS7 cam would work in anything but GenIV like LS2 or LS7?

Can someone expand on this it makes me curious?
