Default LS2 Truck Manifold

So what I'm hearing is that the LS@ Manifold from like a SSR or Truck should be a good upgrade to my stock 5.3 manifold? Is this true? Does it really boost the low end torque?

I'm running an SSR manifold on my 408, but it was a rather uneducated decision. I just wanted a truck manifold that would fit a 90mm throttle body so I didn't have to worry about clearing the water pump inlet neck. I have never seen flow numbers and never seen it compared to a stock truck manifold. I'm sure it flows better, but I'm not sure how much.
