If you have read older posts about the intake, the inside of it necks down back to 78mm. So basically all your getting is a bigger throttle body.

Yeah, looking into confirming that as we speak.

Its a good idea Tom, I just don't think anyone has tried it and proved it. Is your truck drive by wire?

Maybe not so much for me, but what about stroker guys like you? I love how people are so quick to dismiss a new idea without a logical reason why. This is what hot rodding is about - trying new things and exploring every option to get the maximum performance from your vehicle.
NOt dismissing it at all dont take it that way. I have just seen the reults of the 90/90 combo and am not impressed with the results and didnt see how this setup would be worth the money. Yes if it can be done for 600 or so then I would do it for sure. Good luck to you man I wasnt trying to down your idea its a good idea just need to figure out the cost to performance gain of doing this mod. If you ahve good results by doing it then I would really think about doing its since yes I ahve a large stroker motor with a huge cam I can use all the air flow I can get. Keep us posted and Ill keep and eye peeled for an intake for you

Yeah, I'm drive by wire, which makes the swap more difficult because the LS2 TB is 6 pin where as my TB is 8 pin. There is a plug and play harness for Vettes but you have to make your own for the truck. I'm waiting for a few pms back, I actually found a guy with an SS who did the swap but he was having troubles related to the TB. It should be pretty easy for cable TB guys as there are many more choices of aftermarket TBs.

I also have conflicting reports about whether the truck fuel rails and injectors fit the LS2 intake. Still trying to dig into that.

No problem 1slow, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning

Nope, but you'll get it in like 6 to 8 weeks.

dumb question... are all the 90mm tb's(aftermarket and factory) the same 4 bolt pattern? in other words if i see a tb with a 4 bolt pattern will it fit an ls2 truck manifold? i'm looking at doing this swap and i'm trying to research what my options are(who makes the cheapest cable throttle body, lol). thanks.

Yes to the question about the 4 bolt pattern.
