LS2 fuel injectors
#11
Delphi is working on some 60lbs./hr. Multitec II fuel injectors. I guess you won't see any more GM cars with the regular injectors, all the vehicle manufacturors are switching over to them. The Multitec II injectors are much more efficient. Supposed the 42lbs./hr. marine injector performs more like a standard 48lbs./hr. injector because of the efficiency and spray pattern. The only problem is that there is no release date from Delphi yet.

According to this, the LS2 will have 32.5# injectors. There is no way of knowing if this is valid info or not though. That should be plenty big enough for most NA truck guys.

Stock injectors from the 2000+ year trucks are 24.5 pound injectors. At 100% duty cycle, they'll support roughly the 350 rwhp range. Thats NA on motor. Blown trucks will need more fuel. IF the new LS2 injectors are 32.5 pounds, they should easily support 450 rwhp NA. They should also handle a 4.8 or 5.3 with a little boost or a big dry nitrous setup.
