Finally got the motor running and I love it! I haven't really got on it past 80 but after 60 it picks up fast. I need to get some headers but i'm gonna run it at the track and see what kind of numbers I can do. I'll keep you updated.

 

hook us up with some tuned idle clips. im planning the same cam in a ls1 but im torn between 112 and 114 lsa.

 

lol... i'm gonna look like a dumbass but this morning I was getting on the interstate and punched it and got up to about 97 and it started rattling nasty. I had a oil pressure problem the other day that we fixed this weekend but I think it had already messed the rockers up or something and with the high rpms it just gave out I guess. My dad had to go tow me in the 4.8(lol) but hopefully it isn't anything major and i'll have it running soon again. Yeah i'll try and get some clips for you.

 

**** happens. stuff like this happens to members all the time so dont sweat looking dumb lol. figure it out and get her goin agian.

 

I have some good news, I took the valve covers off and was checking the rockers and pushrods and the second rocker on the passenger side closest on the inside wasn't even screwed in. Ever since we have had the motor in that side has been noisy and I bet it just loosend up and came out. Everything else looks fine but i'm waiting on my dad to come check it out and I pray that was the only problem with it.
