Default LS1 pantera coil packs

does anybody know anything about these coil packs? was juct watching HP TV on spike and mentioned the LS1 pantera coil packs. said price range was around $850.00. but comes with harness, wires and coil packs.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON COILS. (Fyi they are not coil packs, they are coils).

ok.. was just asking. i will keep stock ones but any input on upgrading anything on ignition system? wires? plugs?

tr55 plugs, stock wires, and stock coils. if you are spraying tr6 plugs

Umm I run stock wires. Heard to many of the other like to become brittle and break. Plug grade wont really help. If you spray or ar FI, then change them.

i talked to the guy runs xtreme performance in okc the other day and all they put on is stock wires. msd actualy lost a few hp over the stockers he said

and thats a first i have heard on losing power with the MSDs. ill have to keep that in mind

I was thinking about the MSDs the other day and (just talkin' out my *** now) i was thinking that if they do what they say they do, then having multiple sparks could cause the gasses in the cylinder to ignite quicker and could potentially throw off your timing. not sure if this is even the slightest bit sensible, just a thought i had that maybe you would have to run less timing=less power
