Default LS1 Mass Air Flow Sensor

I know a guy around here selling an OEM LS1 MAF for 50 bucks. Is it cross compatible with the Vortec engine? I bet it would flow a lot more since you can port them, upgrade the ends, etc. plus it would be reliable (I heard from several people GMS sensor sucks). Anyone done this?

The truck MAF sensors are bigger (85mm to 75mm). I wouldn't go to one. That's why SLP calibrates the 85mm for the LS1's.

It won't work. The truck MAF has a 5 wire plug and the car has a 3 wire plug. The truck has the IAT sensor in the MAF. The car IAT is on the intake in front of the T/B with its own sensor.
