Default LS1 Intake Swap

Im not needing to know of any parts or anything so dont get all pissy on me..

But since I have pieces of something rattling around inside of my truck intake that I cannot get out and I dont want to put it back on like this, would it be worth the trouble of putting an ls1/ls6 intake on my 6.0 with ported and polished 241 ls1 heads, 230/226 .597/.565 lift 113 lsa cam, plus 150 shot when I need it.

well the wat i understand it is with the ls6 intake you lose bottom end and gain top end with and ex cab and no2 don't worry about it the no2 will take up what you lose

my friend brought the water pump over off a f-body and i bolted it up and it only lacks 1/4 from lining up, could i just press the pully off just a bit and weld it up?? any one thought or tried this?? reason why is because he doesnt have the power steering pump
