Now you could double the fuel pressure BUT, try to find a pump that can supply fuel at 100+psi and pray that your injectors don't lock up from the high pressure. Pretty much all automobile fuel injectors are not made to operate at pressures like that.
Ain't that the truth.

Actually IEM 2003 5.3 injectors vary from 12 to 14 pound sprayers. The Injectors that I have are the stock sprayers from a SS Camaro. By the way never pay SLP too much $$$$$ for their injectors because it's a joke, they are the same OEM factory injectors I have and sell at my store. Here is the GM part number is anyone is intrested #12561462. They cost much less than the SLP fakes.

Your 2003 5.3 injectors are 24.x pound injectors, unless you have the flex fuel option. If so, then you have over 30# injectors. From the looks of your mods, you don;t have a need for anything larger than the stock injector.

ktmrider - in 1999, the 4.8 and 5.3 had 21 pound injectors. Since then they all came with 24 pounders.

Yea, I learned that from you guys...then immediately hooked up with a set of 24 pounders from an 02 6.0. I remember the numbers as being 21 lbs in 99, and 24.7 lbs from there on up.

I have to step up on my injectors pretty soon. I'm going with some sort of power adder later on next year after I get my suspension setup to my liking.
