ls1 fans, are they hard to wire?
#1
TBYRNE has a set of ls1 fans for sale used. They dont come with the relay or anything. I want to make them run of a toggle switch. Would that be hard or are there just a few wires?

A toggle switch is super easy to wire up BUT, I'd recommend spending $40-70 for a thermostatically controlled unit. Hayden makes a nice one with Temp and AC for $40. Flex-A-Lite's new VSC is the best controller around by far. It has a soft start for less amperage spikes, 60-100% fan speed, manual ON and OFF switches, very trick.

Take Hit Man X's advice and get the Flex-a-lite VSC. That thing is the best controller ever made for electric fans besides the factory computer.
You can wire up a toggle switch to it if you want to override the automatic functions at any time.
It really is a nice piece.

I think www.truckperformance.com sells them for $70. I bought one for my F-150 it is a super trick piece that does more than I initially thought. Oh yeah, Jegs and Summit carry them too.
Hope that helps!
