What do most people use to install? Make brackets?

yep. i drilled 2 holes in the lower rad support for the existing fan brackets to bolt to and i used 2 pieces of aluminum strap to hold the top of the fans to the rad support.

hardware store and get these little metal brackets. Thats what i used. Theyre about 5 in. long with holes drilled in them. They worked fine.

I used flat metal stock from Lowe's. It's in the hardware section.

hahaha wire ties, thats what i would use easy cheap and strong....who needs it to be bolted on anyways

come look at my engine bay and its clean and hardly noticable with the ties. alot cleaner then brackets IMHO

oh yea less weight

I've held a motor in a car with zip-ties (due to a broken motor-mount through-bolt) If they'll do that I'm pretty certain they'll hold a fan into a truck
