LS series Comparrison

So with that said, most know from previous posts I was doing an LSX swap. Essentially I still am but I am going a different route. Keeping the t56 mounted behind the motor but I am def going with an aluminum block and NA instead. I realized this frame cannot handle that kind of power and will twist like nothing if I launch at 800whp+ easily. With that said I am looking for a safe 500-650whp NA build.
So far through my research on a budget a stroker ls3 seems feasible but I keep getting my eye caught on the ls7. I understand it is sleeved from the factory, dry sump from the factory, and also as a con has thinner walls. What motor will get me a safer 500-650whp with reliability. If I keep my current job I drive 100+ miles a day and this will be daily driven. Hands down no matter what. I am doing a Baja style truck, full long travel suspension now along with a full 4 link rear suspension. should have 13" travel up front and up to 28" travel in the rear according to the specs online. We will see.
But overall I need some guidance on what platform to start with. Thanks you for all the replies

The only thing stronger over the ls7 from my research is the cylinder walls and unless I am going boosted it wouldn't make a difference. I was under the impression the ls7 made more reliable NA HP than an ls3. Displacement for one. Larger bore gave it more head options as well. Just trying to understand why you all are saying ls3. Nothing technical to support well its stronger.. I understand it is cheaper but where is something concrete that would sway me away from the ls7 for an NA build? The dry sump pan is a nice bonus as well. Again, just trying to get facts.. not basic opinions with no support. Sorry if I sound rude, just trying to do this the right way the first time.

The dry sump is a negative in my book. As far as displacement goes, 9 cubes is nothing (418 vs. 427). The LS3 block is the strongest GM aluminum block, period. Lots and lots of cracked LS7 sleeves. Better do some more research.

I knew the ls7 was a sleeved block as well. But I didn't know cracked sleeves was so common. What NA hp can I make with an LS3 realistically than? If I buy a stock block. do a head, cam, intake swap; what can I expect? I want at least 500whp.

Stroker LS3 or stock cubes? Either way, 500 hp to the wheels is a walk in the park with good heads. A stroker LS3 would be my first pick, 550 hp with the right combo and lots more torque. Texas Speed has forged short blocks for less than 5 grand.
