did the LQ9 come in the hds, i thought it was only the LQ4s? isnt the LQ9 in the 6.0 half tons like the ss, denali, vortec max, and vho. this guys trying to say hes got an LQ9 outta a silverado 2500 hd, is this possible, i think it he said its a 2004?

 

Nope; only the LQ4 came in the Hd's. LQ9 comes in the Silverado SS, VHO, Vortec Max, and awd Escalades. Pretty sure the Denali's had the LQ4.

Ha, something is definatly wrong here. I've seen this same engine up for sale for probably 6 months. I seen it after I was looking for a 6.0L.
But either way he is wrong, HDs never got a LQ9, only LQ4s.

I'd be very leary of buying that motor.

Report him to ebay. Tell him to pull the waterpump take a pic of the block to right there iwll be either 4.8/5.3 or 6.0L stamped there.

 

wat sucks is ppl are biddin on it, but hell if they arent smart enough to research it screw em, i just hate to see asswipes like that on ebay then have ppl give em a good rating cause the retards dont know what there buying
