Default LQ9 Exhaust Manifolds

Have heard they are a budget alternative for a set of better flowing exhaust manifolds? Anybody running them or know if they are different from the standard 4.8/5.3 manifolds? Any benefits? Any help or info is appreciated

dont quote me but it think they are the same. I have a set of factory manifolds from a newer truck and they look different i think. its definately not worth the time to do the swap if they are different. from what iv heard the stock ones dont flow bad. just save your money for some long tubes.

The LQ9 manifolds are the same as the 4.8/5.3 manifolds. Some dealers put aftermarket shorties on as a conversion package, but the stockers are the same.
