Default LQ4 Swap checklist- HELP!

Can you guys help me compile a list of all the misc. components I will need to my LQ4 swap? I am hoping to get a list of items that are absolutely mandatory items I need and a list of items that would be a nice upgrade (i.e. lifters, pushrods, etc.) while the engine is out. So far I’ve gotten the following:

Mandatory:

Head gaskets
Head bolts
Crank bolt
Pick up tube gasket
Blue loctite

Upgradeable parts (dependant on funds):

Hardened pushrods
Cam springs
ARP cap screw rod bolts
LS2 Timing Chain

Please add to the list if there is anything else I need to consider. Also, any special tools that I need would be appreciated. I’m just trying to get everything ordered and available so we don’t miss anything when we do the swap.

Thanks!

Are you buying an LQ4 longblock or shortblock?

why do you need the head stuff? are they already off?
why do you need a pick tube o-ring? if the oilpan/ pump haven't been touched you shouldn't have to mess with it.
is the pulley off? why do you need the crank bolt if not? if you are messing with pulley's make sure you have the needed pulley puller.

needed tools:
*metric fuel line disconnect tool
*15mm deep and regular sockets, lots of extensions for 3/8 drive (for the bellhousing bolts)

nice to have tools:
ratchet wrenches

upgradable:
torque converter, it's sitting right there waiting to be pulled out. It's so easy you'll kick yourself later for not doing it now.

well for one if i am not changeing the cam i would not change the springs unless it is FI,i would get the interal stuff while the motor is out rod bolts, cam, springs, depends on mileage if i would change the oil pump and o ring.
then if you can i would put the pulley and bolt,

when are you planning to do the swap and how much money are you looking to spend in the swap
cause if i have the heads off i woulds do a 3 angle valve job and shave 30 to 50 ths.

Sorry guys, I should have specified it's an LQ4 shortblock. The one that Mwalls54 is selling to be specific. I already picked up some heads from an LQ4 from a friend of mine.

As far as the items listed, it's just stuff I've gathered from other users I have never done a motor swap before so it's all new to me.

I really cannot afford much after the shortblock purchase. I mean I could wait and save up for some additional parts like a cam or a stall, but I'll have to wait a few months.

I would for sure do the rod bolts just because the motor is out.

i would keep the motor swap on hiatus until you can get a new cam and stall. and do the whole thing at once, but thats my 02.

Is that all stuff I can use from my 5.3l aside from the gaskets? The LM7 currently has around 8,000 miles so a lot of the accessories are fairly new.
