224 + ported heads - close to 400hp

Default cam

mine is a comp 222 224 on a 112 with a 2800 stall. lq4, 243 heads, long tubes, no cats, true duals, cai, 8.1 truck injectors. I have no regrets. But then again I have a 2500 4x4 ex cab long bed so its not exactly apples to apples. If i had a reg cab 2wd i would probly go bigger. maybe ts 228 on 112 and 3500 stall.

I know I have a SBC and not LS style engine, but I have a 218/224@112 comp cam in my truck and it works great with a 2800 stall, pulls hard from 2500-4600 RPM, where it spends most of its working time anyways

I'd stick with Tootall and other's recommendation of a 224 cam, prolly 3-3200 stall for an LS application and tune it nice, it'll haul ***. Also, I thought the 112 LSA was going to be harder to tune as well, but the tuners around here will get it running nice and right, I love may cam and how it sounds and pulls.

228, nothing less. The 224 is good in a 6.0, but it more of a beginners/baby cam. imo.

227/232 LSR cam, great cam for a 6.0: https://ls1tech.com/forums/parts-cla...-comp-cam.html

Throw these heads on there while you're at it, lol: https://ls1tech.com/forums/parts-cla...5-3-heads.html
