I have about $10k to drop into this in addition to the motor costs. I want to go for high revving motor it would be very nice in that car.

Side Note May be able to get an LS7 from a 06 ZO6 61000 miles on the motor. Might cost $1000-$2000 more. But I may be able to recoup more costs in selling off some of the ZO6 parts.

heres a guy that took a 6l and put a 4.8l crank and rods in it and it revs to 8000rpms. F-Body with destroked 6.0L spins to 8000 rpm and makes 811 whp - LS1TECH

i would go with the ls7 over the lsA in the caddi. if your able to do the work and part out the vette that may be the better route. just get some forged pistons, new higher revving cam, lighten the valve train with some titanium parts, and maybe port the heads some you would have a beast.

im still thinking just get a plain lq4 or a l33 would be better so you would have more money to spend on the engine and t56. that extra $1-2k could allow the better rockers and pistons, along with the machine work.

If I go Lq4 then I have to buy the ls3 head seperate and a few other parts to make a frankenstein build.

I can just pull a full ls3 attached to the t56 trans one shot. To many options. Its nice to have all the options but I feel like Im stuck because I can't decide.

Ls7 all day long. That motor is also worth a lot if you ever decide to resell it.

The Denali SUV's didn't.... they are just LQ4's. Same deal for the Denali trucks prior to the 2005 crew cabs.....
