I ran a bead of silicone around them to create a dam so water won't get in there.

BTW is that the new MAC super duty 3/8 air ratchet? And I guess the left one. hehe

I'm leaving work in about 10 minutes, got my rod bolts and pan gasket today, so I will go home and pull the pan and we can settle this

Oh, and no those are my basic Craftsman air tools that came as a package with the compressor that broke yesterday.

Some times those "great combo deals" Are not so great. Perfect timing (It's not like you will be using it any time soon) LOL

Wondering why you are swapping out the crank position sensor. Think I read that if you move it you will have to do a crank re-learn. I didn't swap them on my recent 5.3 to 6.0 swap. No problems.

I had the old motor, new motor.... you could tell from the oil filler tube. Extra bends on the new engine on left.

Nice looking engine by the way! They did a good job pulling it. Looks like they unbolted all the wiring and no cuts....

Different connectors - the 2001 motor has a single pin connector, and the 05 motor has three pins.
