Well motor is running and sounds good!

New problem! The 4l80e I rebuilt isn’t working right.

Reverse kicks in but doesn’t get power just revs.
Drive also does this.

1-2-3 shift and work correctly drives fine in those gears.

this is a Jake’s performance rebuild kit. All new solenoids and all wiring harness.

any tips?

 

Sounds dumb but have you rechecked fluid since starting it and topped it off? Also possible shift link adjustment? Just throwing out ideas

 

Got the fluid level perfect. My shift bushing keeps popping off but it’s hitting the gears.

i jacked up rear tires and I’m getting power in reverse and drive, it speeds up and doesn’t rev abnormally.

 

Call jakes. Im sure based on your info he can point you in the right direction
