My 14 year old son and i bought a 93 rcsb to start building for his first vehicle. The original plan was a carbed 5.3. Picked up a solid short block and a set of 243 heads then we found a good deal on an lq4 with 4l80e and all electronics (harnes, pcm, vats, pedal, etc. So we are looking at bolting up the 243 heads on the lq4 and just dropping it in and calling it a day. Of course we'll get a tune on it Does anyone have this combination?

 

What fuel pump would y'all recommend? the in tank walbro with corvette filter/regulator?
