Yes you can compress the valve into the piston to pop the valve locks off, but cover the locks or have a pin magnet handy

LOL I should have know some smart *** would come back with this type of answer. Its not the 65 bucks its the fact I'll probably only ever use it once.

Dont tell me that! But the more I think about it, it doesnt hurt to have around just encase.

Does anyone have the part number for oem valve seals?

Did some searching. Do these part numbers look correct for an 02 LQ4 6.0?
