i beleive with long tubes and the rear o2s not plugged in this causes the truck to run really rich which I beleive explains the black spot? Am I correct?

Yes that is right. Anyways i found another problem today looking under the hood. Will have pics in a minute.

You need MSD wires, you can bend the boot.

Also you need a tune bad. Your truck is running pig rich, which is why is running like ****

I wasnt referring to the wires. I was pointing out the steering shaft. Is it adjustable in any way. I'm not sure how i didnt notice it before.

You're gonna have to dent the header and also account for thermal expansion and flexion at the motor mounts. That sucks

I had this problem with my Gibson shorties, I tried loosening the bolt for the shaft and adjusting it, but ultimately had to loosen the gear box (3 bolts IIRC?) and shift it so that the shaft would rotate on a tighter axis. After shifting the gear box I had to do an alignment though. I basically just loosened the gear box retaining bolts and it actually shifted itself into place.

your getting rear o2codes cause there not hooked up...That being said when i put my llp's on it threw codes within a mile of driviing it and run just fine untuned.
i would go ahead and get the wires that GMCtrk talked about,i have them and they hit no where.Pm GMCtrk for more info.
