Question Low Rpm miss or shutter?

I have a 2000 Silverado Z71, 4wd, 150k, 5.3liter. At low rpms, 1500ish it misses or has a trans shutter? If I get into Overdrive at say 50-55 and give it like 50-60% just to where it dont kick down it jerks like a miss then clears up, its random too. Also no SES light or nothing. Transmission or motor? Anyone?

I know this is an old post, but my friends truck is having this exact problem. Anyone have any ideas what to check?

What happens if you rev it up past 4k? Will it rev up or does it get there and bog and miss? If it won't rev past 4k and has random misfires, you probably have clogged cats.
