The loudest exaust that I have had on my truck was ASM L/T's, no cats, True duals to round Magnaflow Exaust it was really loud and raspy. My girlfriend's truck has a 4.8L and she put true duals straight pipes off the cats into some Z-28 tips on the back and her truck sounds really good, Its not raspy and its loud with a really good tone.

If you want loud, I would go with a set of single chamber flows(I know), but i think they would be the loudest, do away with the cats. It would be loud for sure. My set up is pretty damn loud, I have a single 40 flow no cats, long tubes out before the rear tire..

any kind of a small free flowing muffler will be rather loud, less surface area = louder.

after performance, and sometimes before, brands are usually selected based on what sounds the best to you.

The setup I had on my 04 was really loud. I had dynatech long tubes, no cats and straigt pipes. Theres a link in my sig. I kept the same setup to go on my 06.
It was loud, really caught peoples attention and was worth it.

LTs, true duals with no cats, no mufflers and a pair of 4" tips.
