The 200- 2002ish trucks don't have the high flowing cats like the newer. A buddy of mine had a 2000 with straight pipes tat sounded exactly the way I wanted mine to. It didn't pop when you revved it and it rumbled nice. I got straight pipes put on my 2004 and my buddy took me to pick it up..... 3 times louder than his truck

thanks again for everybody's input, i have one last question if i go with headers which one will give me the most sound shorty's or longtube's?

longers better...i just with i could find a set of lt's besides the dynatechs which are 800.00 but nice...

Best "bang" for the buck if you want louder is a cam swap. Not just a hell of a lot louder, much sweeter.
