Decided to compliment my new Predator with a new cam. Looks like I may do a Comp 212/212 .520/.520 ??? lsa. Gonna throw in the 918's and MTI pushrods that are still unused. I hoping the little turd will pick up a bit. I dynoed 261 with the HPPIII. I'm hopeing I'll get close to 300 with this. That's a tall order. Looks like the 4.8 will be spraying once again. So all that leaves is a 3000 stall and dust off that shift kit and servo and get rolling again with a little pep by the Thunder Shootout.

Yes, I still have the 6.0, but I REALLY want to do that project in another truck, so it stay's on he stand for now.

Uhh.....that's 16.455 at a 5400# weight w/o me. Loaded sub box, 4 tires and wheels in the bed, full compliment of tools etc... nowhere near "raceready" and NO tuning. I didn't go there to run remember? You could say I was "All Show No Go" At least I won first in something!

No!!! and neither did Red's Tahoe. Now you see why I don't want to make this truck a world beater? I think I can get in the 14's on motor and high 13's on gas. That's enough to play on the street. The project that I'll try next year will be real. 10's for sure!

Oh yea, everyone was running a bout a 1/2 sec or more slower that day.

 

yeah, the weather sucked that day. i should have run my truck down there....that way i could have come back up here and ran better and felt good about it inside.

I don't understand where you getting a slow time from. As you can see from the bottom of my post, i been in the 14's with a 4.8. Next mods are Eaton and 3.73 gears. I am hopping to be in the 14's in the heat now. I can't stand it when everyone is ragging us 4.8 owners. Come get you some and we will see what happens when the smoke clears....

Notice the 5500# wieght, no tunning, the extra .5 that everyone else was running, etc.... The truck runs 15.3 w/o the bed cover and sub box.

That was me, but we left pretty quick to go eat dinner with Toxic and Angus across the street at TGIF. We came back about 9:45 and went in and played darts and pool for a while. I saw your truck, but nobody was standing near it when we got there. There was a guy about 5'7" or so near it when we left. There was another guy about 6'3" that was putting something in the passenger seat when we were leaving also. Either one of them you? That's one good looking truck !
