No drone at any RPM whatsoever and I still have the cutout that allows me to run "open headers" at the track, or any other time I want to be loud
So the NNBS exhaust system I have sitting in the garage is actually worth something?

I replaced mine with a Corsa Sport

I had trouble quieting my truck even with dual 3 into single 4 with magnaflow 4 30 muffler dumped before axle.

Switched to dual 3s, x pipe, and Jones SS 3 18 mufflers and alot quieter. Love it.

We've got a handful of universal Power-Flo mufflers that would probably work perfect for you.

dynomax ultra flows are your best bet for not hurting performance and making the truck quieter i had them on my truck few years ago made a huge difference over my old 40 series

I'd recommend taking a look at our 50 Series Big Block mufflers. The 50 Series BB is our largest and quietest muffler. It was also specifically designed for big cubic inch engines like yours and features a huge resonance tuning chamber that will reduce any unwanted interior sound.

Well.....it is to me anyway. I bought the exhaust from the muffler back from a guy that put a Borla system on. I love it on my truck for daily driving. I can't handle the drone in my dads truck with Magnaflow mufflers at highway speeds so I was afraid to go with them. Didn't want to shell out the money for a Solo Performance muffler so seemed the OEM 6.2 muffler was the way to go on a budget.
