I think I have a lot of power left on the table running stock manifolds, but at the same time my shifts suck beause of the converter. Ahhhh, what do I do?!?
you can help me with my transgo when i get back.. i have an HD kit that has been sitting on the floor forever.

Probably want to do both. My trans slipped so bad (from the factory and even with a PCM tuned for shift firmness) on full-throttle upshifts I had to back-off the throttle while the trans shifted. As I added more bolt-ons and made more power it just got worse. The Transgo cured all that. Full throttle shift are now quick and firm.

I think I'm gonna go with the headers and Y pipe, then save up for the shift kit afterwards. My dad said that if my tranny goes he will pay to get it fixed so no real worries right now.

Definetly go with the headers + ory, assuming they are high quality. Todd @ discount should have some results for us tonight.

You can pretty much rip the whole system out, all the way until the y pipe flang connects with the cat-back system.

LT's, Ory, & a Cat-back combined, equal alot of flow. It'll sound damn good too.
