I'm thining the speed daddy ones are the ones guys are buying, IIRC. It was either here or on LS1truck that there was a big thread about them. Seems more people are happy with their ebay stainless headers than with the pacesetters

Thumbs up

They are the same headers from each Ebay seller.

Here's my install thread with plenty of pics, and other info...

Still 100% happy with my choice, and still 100% positive that dollar for dollar, they are the best deal out there for longtubes and and ORY.

I don't really like the way those look. I think my pacesetters were great for the money.

For $60 more shipped, you can get some ceramic Thorley Tri-Y LT's. Search eBay. Better design plus their ceramic coated. I've got a set in my apt waiting on me to finish the t56 swap.

Usually ceramic coated = mild steel headers...I'd rather have stainless myself. If I lived in California or Arizona as opposed to the northeast, it wouldn't matter as much, but with the snow, salt, and all-around moisture around here, stainless steel is almost a requirement for a daily driver

You know, I didn't think about that. You may be right, but Thorley headers have been around forever so I know they make an excellent product. For my application, a 4.8 street truck, I felt like their headers was the best choice.

Don't forget that the stainless Ebay's come with a Y pipe as well. No fabrication needed to bolt right up to stock, or stock style, catback.

Can't deny that Thorley makes a quality header for sure, their tri-y design is well known for maximizing torque numbers.
