If the header is stainless, personally I don't see the need, although it does drop underhood temps. For non stainless headers it makes a difference as far as longevity goes, along with dropping underhood temps. I didn't get mine coated because 1) I was test-fitting them for StainlessWorks and we weren't sure if they'd fit, and 2) it's not in my budget right now. The coated headers sure are purdy though

i really like my pacesetters.. good performance, good price, good quality, easy to install, looks great.. i cant speak for the other types of headers.. my .02

Dynatech, Pacesetter, Stainless Works, and Arizona Speed & Marine are all 1.75 inch primary diameter.

Good info guys.
I just noticed the Pacesetters are not stainless steel. They are coated. Will they last as long as the others? Also I just read the primaries are 1.75 on the Pacesetters.
