how bad was the valvetrain noise? was there enough assembly lube on the cam? did you pour a little oil on the heads and such?... I'm sure it wasn't harmful though right?

congrats again
Valve train noise was bad. I put assembly lube on the cam before I stuck it in. Took a while for the lifters to pump up. I've put about 75 miles on it now and its fine. Well as fine as 918 springs get.

I did add Katech style rod bolts. The swap really went easy. No warnings. I would recommend just taking your time and marking everything well. I used masking tape and marked every electrical connections, took pictures, and placed all the similar bolts in sandwich baggies and marked them. IE: ground botls, power steering bracket, etc...

I've got a Radix so intake swap is out of the picture.

Yes I swapped cams. Had to. A cam lobe had scored up on the Cam Motion unit. That is what was making the noise that drove me to getting the 6.0. I went with Lingenfelter GT7.

So far it feels like I'm about the same power level down low. It PULLS much better mid to top I think.

Going to the track tomorrow.

Yes. Went that route little cheaper and lower compression for boost.
