Smile A little help and a few questions.

I have a friend with a 2003 Z71 truck and he wants to put nitrous on it. He has asked me to do it for him because I do all the work to my 02 WS6 but I am gearing up for FI and this will be the first time dealing with nitrous so I wanted to ask here seeing how I have seen a few guys with trucks running nitrous on this board. The kit I was looking at was the NOS 5177 kit because I feel that a dry shot would be safer for him giving he is not as watchful as I am to handle a wet shot which I also don't think is useful for at most a 100 shot but I don't think a 5.3 even though a iron block could handle a 100 shot because of the weak pistons and rods in it. Please correct me if I am wrong on any of this. Other mods that I have done for him so far include K&N filter, Air box mods, Flow-tech cutout, predator programmer, 180 thermostat, Taylor spark plug wires, and soon to have a smooth tubing style intake piping custom made.

Now the things I was thinking he was going to need for the nitrous would be the NOS 5177 kit, NGK Tr6 spark plugs, a richer tune from the predator, I was also going to move the MAF sensor closer to the TB and further away from the nitrous which I was going to have spray into the stock modified air box and make sure the nozzles aren't pointing at the MAF sensor to avoid frizz up. I was also going to get a Harlan window switch and maybe a fuel pressure safety switch although I will need a few recommendations on how and who to get this from. And for monitoring I felt the best way to go; to watch knock retard, fuel to air, and timing was the scan master scanner after we get done using my autotap to check everything first. The activation rpm would be 3 grand and shut off rpm would be 5800 just before redline so hopefully to avoid spraying during shifts. If anyone can help and give me some more feed back to my layout and recommend anything else that would be great. Sorry for the long read but thank you.

These motors will handle 150 shots for sure without popping.
I went with the 5176 kit because the truck motors have a vacuum fuel line like the old LT1s.....sounds weird, but Holley (NOS) will agree. Going this route, you also wont have to worry about messing the MAF up with the nitrous hitting it.
