where can i get the parts to build a 4L65. i know of somebody that can rebuild it for me.
what do you guys think about this website?

Cool thing i found out while researching for this tranny is that the new C6 comes with the 4L65 which makes me think that it's gonna become more common therefore.. cheper in a year or two.. i hope.. haha

yeah i've been thinking about it because my stock crank i'ts all messed up i dont know if i should get another LS1 crank or the 4.000" stroker i think that's like 2k for the kit. with the eagle crank eagle rods and dimond pistons.

oh man your in the right position to put the stroker kit in. Id definately do it, you can always do the power adder later. Id just plan ahead and look for an FI friendly cam, Id talk to comp or LPE there are alot of good choices. I think a 383 with some ls6 PandP heads (moregrip just did a great write up on some he got)then the radix would be sick, youd skip right past the 12's and about 95% of the lightnings out there

Yup, i think the 383 will be the best choise since i'm rebuilding it anyway. going back to the transmission topic, how long do you guys think the tranny will last with the 383 no blower(4 rgt now) with out abusing it??

I'm not a hater but must lightning guys here in AZ are F&^%! @$$holes and i want them to fear a red silverado with a DIABLO6 licence plates when they see me LOL. sorry it's just a stupid lil' fantasy i have...

Id just go with the 4l60e and a shift kit and it last as long as it lasts. I would just have the 80e sitting on standby. my .02
