lifters keep messing up

From another thread I was reading in the 7.4's are too long. The LS7 lifters are longer than your stocker's.

Edit: F4tal found this the other day.

Way to steal my find josh! lol jk
There are a few threads stating that the 7.4s are too long for the ls7 lifters, idk why the hell TSP keeps saying the 7.4s are okay, i mean i guess they work but i dont want them to cause problems later on...
Goodluck,
Alex

I think the reason TSP keeps saying it's okay is because they are only looking at the preload range being the same and not at the actual lengths of each lifter being different.

I was thinkin about your setup david and that you havent had any problems... idk after all the hype though i think its on the safe side to run the stock length pushrods
And josh i bet your right because everyone who tests it keep saying the preload is the same but i guess no ones taking into account the lifter being a bit taller
I say just get a pushrod length tool and go from there
