From another thread I was reading in the 7.4's are too long. The LS7 lifters are longer than your stocker's.

Way to steal my find josh! lol jk

There are a few threads stating that the 7.4s are too long for the ls7 lifters, idk why the hell TSP keeps saying the 7.4s are okay, i mean i guess they work but i dont want them to cause problems later on...

Fixed

I think the reason TSP keeps saying it's okay is because they are only looking at the preload range being the same and not at the actual lengths of each lifter being different.

i run 7.4s with my ls7 lifters, with 62 cc heads. it ticks some.

I was thinkin about your setup david and that you havent had any problems... idk after all the hype though i think its on the safe side to run the stock length pushrods

And josh i bet your right because everyone who tests it keep saying the preload is the same but i guess no ones taking into account the lifter being a bit taller


I say just get a pushrod length tool and go from there
