Default Lifters?? Comp, Comp R, LS7

I see alot of people with major noise problems with Comp R lifters I am not sure if its design.. i see alot of people talking about preload on them.. I am looking for something to drop in Not looking to go 7000rpms or 640 lifts with 245 duration.. cam is mild at 580 580 with a dual spring patriot package...Anyone care to catch me up to date on whats good right now...

For a mild cam, just stick with stock lifters. LS7 and cadillac lifters also are good replacement lifter for a reasonable price. Morel lifters seem to be one of the better lifters available but cost twice as much as comp R's.
