I've heard that Headers made for a Camaro LS1 could fit my truck, maybe with a little tweaking. Just wondering if anyone thought these would work on my truck and what else I would have to get to make it work?

You will love the them. Shorties are a waste of money for the price. I ran LT's on my ws6 and all that I noticed was stronger in every gear, no loss of low end.
so I couldnt imagine mids being crappy, especially at 50 bucks.

Yeah I thought about not posting the link because of other people wanting them, but its too late now.
Would these bolt directly up to my stock y-pipe and catalytic converters and what not or would I need a new y-pipe and cats????
I had mac midlengths on my SS, as noted at the bottom, and I noticed gains almost all the way through the RPM band. The local hot rod shop that does about everybody's performance installation around here said that the mac's would be good gains, just not as much as long tubes. That was 4 years ago too, so I don't know if their opinion has changed or not at all since then.

thats what I thought. any suggestions on good, and cost efficient, y-pipes and Catalytic converters ??
Or does my Superchips programmer allow me to clear any codes that not having Catalytic converters would throw so that I can pass OBDII ?? I can't remember if I have that capability or not. I know it reads and clears codes, just don't know if it would do that one or not? The local shop doesn't care to look under my truck, they don't do anything but plug it up to OBDII, run it for the state's purposes and put a new sticker on it. They don't check anything else because they know me so well and know I keep everything in working order.
