lets talk intakes/manifolds
#1
I personally kinda think all intakes are the same.. I.E. Volant, AEM, Airraid, K&N, Etc. Does anyone have proof of one being better than the other? open or closed box? Im just kinda curious, because to me I think a box would be more restrictive and less air kinda thing?
Next, what about manifolds? People say the LSx car intakes are better. Some say trucks? y such a big difference? wouldnt a corvette intake flow better than a truck on any set up? Just somethin I was kinda curious about lately.. any light?

As far as the intakes go, I don't think there are any really proven difference that a person has done, maybe the companies but they hipe **** up so wtf.. They all are a huge intake tube with a huge filter sooooo. Also the lsx car manifolds (ls6) are and have been proven to make more hp over the trucks manifolds. The reason is due to the runner size, the design and volume of air it can handle, also they keep pulling above the 6200 mark as to where the truck intake falls off. All in all the truck intake flows well, unless your all out racing or reving the **** out of it, the swap to the ls6 or fast intake is not really going to be a huge benifit, but it will help.. This is just from what I have read on these boards, also from people....
