There's a more technical reason too. The coating retains the heat inside the header. The o2 sensor being so far back, as oppose to 6 inches from the head with the manifolds on, will read somewhat lean if they aren't hot enough. The coating keeps them nice and hot so you get an accurate reading. Keeps the fuel mileage up and makes the headers show a much better gain from not running overly rich.

In your situation, you might want to get the Y-pipe as well.

What are the best, somewhat good, and worst headers out there. Prices and hp gains also please

If you get long tubes, i take you have to buy the new y pipe and etc to match up?

I would kinda like to go stainless since I dont want them rusting off the truck in 1 year

power vs price is my main concern
Are you looking for headers for the truck in your sig? If so I don't think the Pacesetters will work on a 4x4 at least from what I've read here. I keep looking here hoping to someday see a post saying that Pacesetter has made a LT for the 4x4's that don't cost $$$$

The Thorleys fit 4x4's!!! And they are reasonably priced. Coated and un-coated.
